Easter Sunday

Today we drove to Southern Illinois to visit your Great-Grandma and Great-Grandpa. This year was special because Aunt Judy and cousin Beth Ann now live there too. We had a nice dinner. At Great-Grandma's request the special cheese potatoes your Grandma always makes for holidays were made. Beth Ann doesn't like them. She said you only people who are older than 30 like them. I guess in a few years when she gets older we will see if she changes her mind!

I was glad to see everyone because I missed the special birthday party a few weeks ago. Baby Brennah turned one year old. Her mom Beth Ann had a big party. Your Grandma and Grandpa were there at the party. They love Brennah. Singing and reading to her make them happy. Grandma especially loves to teach her things, and Grandpa loves to play puzzles. I imagine these are things they will do with you some day. This is a picture of Brennah when she visited your mom while I was recovering from hip surgery.
